Welcome, everybody, to another Wealth Transfer TV episode. My name is Steve K. And I am the founder of Cast You Nets Ministries. Today on the program, as you know, Thursdays we invite friends over, and we have, what's this- conversations about God, what he's doing, and how things that they can pass on to us. And today on the program, we have an amazing man. His name is Dr. Lee. What if I told you that this guy has had his hand in planting over 800 churches? He's reached six unreached people groups. His name is Dr. Lee. He's the founder and president of River of Life Ministries. He's a graduate from Regent University, and he conducts revival services. He's so my type of guy, right? Conducts revival services, conferences, seminars, pastors conferences, leaderships, discipleship training, outreaches. I mean, all over the world. In fact, right before we went live, we were talking about Ukraine and all the work he's done in Ukraine and how he's trained up over 600 young leaders in Ukraine. Glory to God. And he was just there this past August. He is a man who demonstrates the kingdom of God. Not just words, friends. Not just words. No theory here with Dr. Lee. Dr. Lee, welcome.

Thank you. Thank you. It's my honor.

I really appreciate you taking the time to meet with us. There's so much I would like to talk to you about. But I asked Mark, I said, okay, what do we want to talk about? You're Mark's father in law. He says, the kingdom and authority power of God's creation mandate. So I got to ask the question, what is the kingdom and authority power? What is God's creation mandate? What is that? What does that mean?

Dr. James Lee

Yes, I would like to share briefly about that, because from Genesis to revelation, God talks about His creation mandate. And without understanding that, Christians can go on a rabbit trail to doing different things and not really be able to engaging in the real thing God is calling us to do. Well, as you know well, that God created Adam and Eve, and God gave them a creation mandate. Number one, gave them eternal life to live on the earth. And then He said, have a dominion over every living thing on the earth. And God began His mission. I want to call God's first mission. He is the first missionary. God loved heaven, came to His mission station, create the garden of Eden, and He started His mission. Well, Satan came and usurped what God has released unto them. The creation mandate. Well, they lost eternal life. They begin to die. And then Satan became a ruler of this world. Even Jesus called him as ruler of this world and god of this world. But God hasn't forgotten about creation mandate. So after the flood, whole Gentile world, the whole people grew in the world are totally lost. They don't know creator God, Yahweh.

Dr. James Lee

And so God select a Gentile man, Abram from Chaldea. And Abraham's family worshiped idols. So God pick Gentile men to create Jews. Chosen people. So I need to unders- you know, Jewish people need to understand they were created out of Gentile men. And so God created Jewish nations through Abraham. And God gave Abraham creation mandate again. "I will bless you. I will make you a great nation, Israel. And then through you, all the families of the earth, all the Gentiles of the earth shall be blessed." So that was a creation mandate of creating, again, God's chosen people to be a blessing to every people, tongue and tribe and nation.

So the creation mandates coming from Genesis 1:28 and 2:15. And you're saying it's picking up that original mandate that God gave Adam and Eve, which is to be fruitful, multiply and subdue the earth, right? And expand the garden, expand the kingdom, subdue the Earth.

Dr. James Lee

Right. Right.

Steve K.

And that's interesting. I've never thought of it that way. That Jews were created out of Gentiles because there were no Jews prior to Abraham. Actually, when Abraham was picked, they weren't Israelites. They weren't Jews, right? Normal people.

Dr. James Lee

Right. So God select one gentile man, idol worshiping family and Abram and create Israelites out of it, because God has a creation mandate to fulfill. So God created Israelite so that one people group in the whole world, 99.99% were lost. They worshiping idols. But one people group begin to know Yahweh, the creator God. And out of that God create the Passover ceremony. As you know well, when they came out of the egyptian bondage, last one was killing the lamb. And those who apply the blood, the death angel will pass over that house. So this became the most important ceremony of Old Testament. All other gentiles worshiped their own God, sacrificing their own animals and all that. But they didn't know really there's a Yahweh almighty God, right? So that is salvation plan. Because God wants to choose those people, chosen people, to get to know God and have an eternal life back. And secondly, God wants to release kingdom authority and power to His chosen people. So the kingdom plan is David Covenant. Because Isaiah 9:7 said the prophetic word about Jesus, "Yeshua will sit on the throne of David." And then when the Gabriel appeared to mother Mary, "your son will sit on the throne of David. From that time on this kingdom will never end."

Dr. James Lee

So that's a kingdom plan. But there is a salvation that has to be first and then the kingdom of God need to expand every people, tongue and tribe and nation. And so we are here to fulfill and part of that kingdom plan and creation mandate that God has released on the earth. So kingdom plan is of course moving in supernatural realm. Whenever God appears on the earth, He always moves in supernatural kingdom authority and power. The whole Gentile world sees the Israeli God moving in power of God. They begin to recognize there is a one and only living God. Even the Nebuchadnezzar recognized Daniel's God as one and only God, right?

Yeah, I love the book of Daniel. Daniel, he brings down the most evil and the most powerful empire, demonic empire, on the planet and I actually think two or three kings recognized decree that Daniel's God is the God of all gods. That's unbelievable. But I want to take a step back because, okay, I understand what you're saying, right. With the creation man and walking in power, and our audience, they're mostly professionals, they're doctors, entrepreneurs, they're pastors, ministry leaders. So when you say walking in power, how can- I mean, you're not asking us to walk around with a pillar of fire over our heads, right? I mean, what does that look like for the normal, for the 96% of us who are sitting in the pews, right? Because you're a very rare individual going all over the world. You've gone to all these over 100 nations, 800 churches planted. Most of us aren't going to do that. So what does it look like for the normal person, the other 96, to walk in that kingdom authority, power, that creation mandate?

Dr. James Lee

Well, that's a very important question. And God already answered that question very simply. Well, New Testament opens in Matthew, chapter one, verse one, with this incredible prophetic words, the genealogy of Jesus Christ and then son of David and son of Abraham. And then New Testament begins. If that scripture is not there, New Testament and Old Testament could have been disconnected. But in order for Messiah, Yeshua, to come, He has to fulfill two plans. As a son of Abraham, to fulfill the salvation plan to bring salvation to every people, tongue and tribe and nation. And then as a son of David, He brought kingdom authority and power to destroy the works of the devil. So how did that all take place? Even the 97 average people, we call ourselves christians. But this is what I want to really reveal. Everything that you do, if you're a businessman, if you're a doctor, whatever your vocation is, you are minister. See, there is a wrong notation, connotation of. We have to go to theological school, get a master's and doctoral degree, become a pastor, evangelist. Then we think they are the ministers. No, that is not God's intention. Creation mandate declares that when Jesus died on the cross, he died on the cross as the lamb of God to take away the sin of the world, Jewish sins and the Gentiles.

Dr. James Lee

And then when He rose from the dead, He rose as a lion of Judah. To do what? To come into us, to indwell in us. So inside of us there is a lion of- lamb of God as well as a lion of Judah. Lion of Judah is where kingdom, authority and power dwells through the Holy Spirit. So if you confess that Jesus is the Lord, you just need to realize that kingdom authority and power is within you. See, Jesus is the kingdom authority, holy spirit who dwells inside of you. You're baptizing the Holy Spirit upon you. It's a kingdom power. He has a power and authority to help you in whatever you do. Just like Daniel was not a minister, he's an administrator. But he received kingdom power to govern the whole nation of Babylonia. Joseph governed the whole Egyptian kingdom with the wisdom. He was not a minister. So I want you to understand that kingdom authority and power is indwelled inside of us. Inside of you. If you say Jesus is the Lord, then His kingdom authority written in Genesis to revelation is available for you and the kingdom that is available for you.

Dr. James Lee

You just need to pray and allow Jesus and the Holy Spirit to govern you, guide you with the mind of Christ and the will of God to direct your affair every day. And I have written a book about it. I have to promote my book. The Kingdom of Heaven is at Hand. If you read that book. I've written everything about how to moving in kingdom authority and power in whatever the vocation you have. So that's my answer for that.

Okay, thats- also Romans 8 says, "the same spirit that rose Christ from the dead dwells within us." So you can get his book. The Kingdom of Heaven is at Hand. Just click the link below and it'll take you right to the ministry website. And there's a lot of great resources there. But Dr. Lee- okay, so it's one thing to know up here that the spirit of God dwells within me. How do I- let's say I'm someone who's working in corporate America. How do I access that power within me? Knowing now that I have this, I know faith is one, but give me some practical things while they're at work. How do I access this power and how far can this power come outside of me, on a practical-, how do they access this?

Dr. James Lee

You know, let me share with you. Before I became a minister, I was in american air force, and I was a senior director and planning officer at the Awax. And I was stationed in NATO Awax in Germany for three years. Well, Awax mission was very complicated and very delicate and very dangerous sometimes. And many times I have to pray, "God, the Holy Spirit, help me how to handle this mission wisely and so that I will know how to manage it." I was the chief of planning a section of squadron two. Sometimes we would have an exercise over Europe in Denmark, and that whole budget is $56 million dollars. And I have to plan everything. Well, I needed God's help. I cry out to the Lord, "I need your wisdom. Just like you gave Daniel the wisdom, Joseph the wisdom. I need your wisdom to help me to understand and how to execute this wisely." And believe it or not, God really helped me, at the end all those missions were very successful. So as a minister, as I go to the nations, I do the same. "God, Holy Spirit, I need your help" because John 14- 13 to 16 says, Jesus said, "when He, the Holy Spirit, comes upon you, He will guide you into all truth."

Dr. James Lee

So you want know the truth? Talk to God, the Holy Spirit, and He will speak to you whatever He hears, whatever the question that you have in your mind. If you pray to God, Jesus is going to speak to Holy Spirit to tell you the answer to that, and then He will tell you things to come. Well, He can tell you way ahead of time what is yet to come, and He will declare what is of Christ unto you. So again, there's an answer right there. So that we need to utilize Holy Spirit and Jesus within us to manifest His kingdom authority and power in whatever we do. Then His wisdom will flow through you, and you will be the very best man and woman that God has created you to shine the light of God in your vocation.

I love this answer. Several things I want to unpack in this answer. One is there is an extraordinary amount of faith that needs to be exercised in this. One, you need to have faith that God will hear your prayer. Two, you have to have faith that God will answer your prayer. Three, you've got to have faith that you will hear the right answer. And four, you need to have the faith and the courage to execute and follow that answer. Right? Jesus did what He saw the Father doing so we can get the message, and then it's getting the information and okay, following through on that, and He is the source of all wisdom. He is the source of everything. That- and faith- actually you can't do anything without faith. To be honest. There's nothing you can do. You have to access this faith. How do people build up their faith? How can you build up your faith?

Dr. James Lee

Well, let me give you my own personal experience in the nations. One time I was in Nepal and the Mao Skirola surrounded Kathamandu and they won't let anybody drive any car, they would blow them up and whatnot. And I was doing the secret training. So one christian brother was secretly coming, picked me up, risking his whole life and taking me to the conference. Well, after conference is over, we will walk, it was 2004, we got to go to the Internet cafe to check on the emails and whatnot. And from the hotel, if we make a right turn, it only takes ten minute walk to go there. So after dinner we take a walk, check on our Internet and then come back. But Wednesday we are going to go back there. And the Holy Spirit said very clearly, don't go to the right, come to the left this time. So I argue with God. If I go left, it's going to take almost 30 to 40 minutes to get there because we have to go all the way around. God doesn't explain to you why He wants to obey. See, the key is of faith is not challenging God and just accepting what God said in face value. God speaks to me again, "Obey Me. Turn left." So we went to the left. Within five minutes, car bomb exploded in the right hand side.

Wow!

Dr. James Lee

Next morning when we opened the newspaper, exact spot. If we walk right turn exact spot, car bomb exploded will be the place we were walking by and we would have been all killed. Again, that kind of thing made me trust the Lord and depending on God. So I want to declare faith has come to an end of your own logical mindset. Try to figure things out. And then faith is simply receiving God's answer as a total face value to obey. That's faith. And if you keep trying to reason what God is speaking to you, you cannot walk in faith. So if you pray when God speaks to you, then you got to obey and walk in that. Otherwise your life can be in danger, in my case. And there was not once, several occasions like that where He delivered me from the danger. So of course in my heart, depending on God and praying over anything and everything is very important for me so that I will follow His perfect plan for my life, each moment, each day, so that my life can glorify Him. But if I follow my own plan, that will glorify myself. So faith is come to simply end of your logical, figuring things out and simply saying yes to God and listening to Him and walking in what He says.

Steve K.

So faith is laying down your own intellect, laying down your own reason, your own genius, whatever it is, and saying, I don't have to understand because God's saying so, so I'm going to obey. That takes courage, that takes grace and faith. And I know for me personally, the more I exercise my faith, the easier it becomes. The easier it becomes. And then eventually people are like, wow, how'd you do that? I just believed. What do you mean you just believed? Yeah, I just believed. That's pretty much it. My background is, I was a former homeless heroin addict. And when I had a radical encounter with Jesus Christ, I got radically saved. I was instantly delivered, and I read the scripture that says, "you are a new creation. In Christ, all things have passed. All things are new." I literally believed that my entire past was erased. Then I thought, okay, if my entire past is erased, that means I can create anything I want in the future. Because I also read that I can do all things through Christ Jesus, who strengthens me. And when people ask, how did you start and sell four companies? Now you have a ministry that does a lot of stuff in finances and you trade. I just believed, like God just said, go into this direction, go into crypto, and I'm like, okay.

Steve K.

And it's been a wonderful, wonderful adventure. But there's this weird, I find that there's this weird thing among christians thinking if you follow Jesus and you hear the Holy spirit and you follow everything He says, that there will be no tribulation and no testing, I guess. But I have found that to be the opposite, that God will often call me to something and I'll have to overcome mountains. Mountains. Where did this theology come from? That because we're following Jesus, it's just going to be licking ice cream cones on the beach. I don't understand that. That's like the opposite of pick up your cross. Pick up your cross is not, let's go hang out on the beach. You're about to die. How does this creep in like this? How do we make sure it doesn't creep into what we think?

Dr. James Lee

Well, I think this comes from western kind of, I want to say kind of MyPillow gospel. I like, know I'm not speaking against great men who create that, but what I'm trying to say is that, "hey! If you have Jesus in your heart, you have MyPillow. You just kind of cushion the pillow, you lay down you can rest. Everything is going to go fine and so on." But that's not what the Bible said. "When you go through the waters, I will be with you. When you go through the rivers, I will be with you. When you go through the fire, I will be with you." He didn't say, I'm going to rescue you from the trouble like river and water and the fire, but I'm going to walk with you. And I think key is that faith grows as God walks with us in very difficult situations in life. Not blaming God, blaming circumstances, trusting God and walking with Him. It's not how you fall into the hole that make you more than a conqueror. It's how you come out of it, right? The devil doesn't want you to go through to become more than a conqueror in your life because like you, Brother Steve, you conquer the devil's trap of addiction and all that because of that experience that you come out of it victoriously.

Dr. James Lee

And God walked with you all these years. Now you can tell the world about what God is doing. I think same thing. Devil wants to go easy route. So you have no testimony to share with anybody because there's nothing to give. "I am the very professional pew warmer. Every Sunday I come to church to warm my pew. And if somebody sits in my pew, I'm going to tell them, hey, that's my pew for 15 years. Please move aside. I'm a professional pew warmer. To be a pew warmer and then MyPillow gospel to just lay down." No. Life is tough. Life is full of challenge. We need to be very wise and very determined because we all are playing an important little part to fulfill God's creation mandate. Either you know it or not. Because at the end God said, this gospel of the kingdom will be preached to all the world as a witness unto all the nations. Then the end will come. You know, when the Jewish people find Messiah Yeshua as their Lord and Savior, we call them Messianic Jew. It's the same token, gentiles find Yeshua to find Abba, Father Yahweh.

Dr. James Lee

Then we are Messianic Gentiles. There's no difference. See, Yeshua made one new man out of Jews and Gentiles. And so we are one new creation in the Lord to finish the race. So if you are called to be a businessman, you use that for his glory to expand the kingdom of God you can financially support so somebody can go to the front line and train the nationals and they can evangelize on richer people groups. We are all part of this big, humongous God's kingdom plan and kingdom, authority and power to fulfill His creation mandate. That's why God created you for such a time as this, to be a part of that, your part that you need to fulfill in this big creation mandate. And I just need to do my part. Brother Steve does his part, and that's all we need to do. We just need to concern about our part. Amen?

I agree. Amen. A couple of things about what you just said. One being that even though my assignment now is business, yesterday I was at a university and I was talking about the Holy Spirit. And the Holy Spirit came on these young people and they were on the floor getting healed. And the one person's crying, other person's getting healed. And just because you're a businessman doesn't mean you can't do that, right? The same spirit that rose Christ from the dead dwells in you. So even though I was training the whole day yesterday, in the afternoon or in the evening, I went to university and we preached the gospel. The Holy Spirit fell. The second thing is that going back to this idea, know, you listen to God, you hear His directions, and everything's going to be okay. In Joshua, we find out God says, okay, here's the promised land. This is the land I have promised you. It is yours. But you find out you have to go in war. Like you got to go fight. It's weird. It's almost contradicting like, well, hang on a second, God, you said, this is my promised land.

Steve K.

This is what you have for me, yet I have to go fight? And part of me thinks, I don't know what you think, but part of me thinks that He's really demonstrating because we're so frail and so we have no power, right? We're just dust, right? With His breath. And it's almost like He shows off that through this frail thing that can die at any moment. Because we're so frail, we don't realize it. And He is, through His spirit, using us, we are demonstrating His kingdom, His love. I don't know, your thoughts?

Dr. James Lee

Well, whatever God is assigned us to do, there is a divine purpose behind of that. We are not just kind of going to college of our own choice and then vocation of our own choice. You even think that was all done by you. But if you are in Christ, behind of that God is working through you to fulfill His destiny, to fulfill His great creation mandate. Well, conquering the promised land was a very difficult task. I love Caleb and Joshua. They were 85 years old and they said, my strength is like as strong as a 40 and they go conquer the Anakims, the giants in the 85, right? And we need to have that kind of Joshua and Caleb spirit in order to conquer our own promised land. Because each and every one of us, devil will do everything possible- He said, the thief has come to kill, steal and destroy your God ordained mandate, creation mandate. Devil doesn't want you to discover- number one, devil wants you to fulfill that. He will mess up your plan, every corner. If your spirit filled, his attack will be greater because he knows the potential of what you can impact the world like brother Steve is doing.

Dr. James Lee

I was a totally pagan, grew up in buddhist home and God radically saved me. And now God is using me to touch the world, right? That's God. So the key is that we must be bold, very courageous. And also I hear many know, if God is a good God, why He allow all these wars and rumors and all this thing happening in Israel and Ukraine and all over the world. Well, it's not God's fault. When Adam invited Satan, Satan's curse came into this world. It is him who come to spill, kill and destroy and human heart is as desperately wicked, you know? But God is good. So whatever- you can never judge God based on what's happening in the world. See, God is above that. We need to trust God in very difficult times. We need to trust God in the time that you walk through the shadow of the valley of death. See, when God said, when you pray, Abba, father who art in heaven, hollowed be thy name and thy kingdom come. And then thy will be done. Your will be done. See, 99% of our prayer is my will be done. And God, you bless my will, right?

No, Whenever we pray, we said, this is what I'm thinking. But what is your will? Your will be done in my life, right? If we have that attitude and a simple faith, then God will make you more than a conqueror as you go through the journey of conquering your promised land. Until you breathe your last breath, Jesus is the Lord.
